嘉宾简介：

Linda Jaivin is the internationally published author of eight books, including six novels. She is also a playwright and widely published essayist. She majored in Asian History and language at Brown University in the U.S. and lived in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Beijing before settling in Australia. She has been translating Chinese film subtitles and scripts since the 1980s. The movies she has subtitled include Hou Hsiao-hsien's《悲情城市》, Chen Kaige's《霸王别姬》，《风月》，《梅兰芳》，《赵氏孤儿》，《搜索》，Zhang Yimou’s 《活着》，《英雄》, Tian Zhuangzhuang’s《小城之春》, Jiang Wen’s《阳光灿烂的日子》,《鬼子来了》，Wong Kar-Wai’s《一代宗师》and many other Chinese films including《关云长》，《危险关系》and《天之恩赐》.She has done literary translation as well, including oral histories, and has done some work with Peking Opera as well. She is a research affiliate of the School of Culture, History and Language at the Australian National University's College of Asia and the Pacific. She is an Australian citizen and lives in Sydney, and travels frequently to China.
